Interesting. In science someone (very familiar) said "make it simple,
but not too simple".

IMO the burden of not making it simple has often been neglected in
free software development. It is like it did not matter. But I think
it does in many ways. And it is often very complicated to understand
what it too simple and what is not enough simple.
