The tenth update of Emacs 22 Carbon+AppKit port is now available from

    ftp://ftp.math.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/emacs/emacs-22.3-appkit-1.10.tar.gz

The list of changes is omitted here; mostly bugfixes backported from
Emacs 23 Mac port 1.96 - 1.99.

Though the Carbon port is part of the official GNU Emacs 22.3
distribution, I'd suggest avoiding it on Mac OS X 10.6 and using the
Carbon+AppKit port above instead if you do need native GUI support for
Emacs 22. At least Mac OS X 10.6.2 has several bugs in the GUI
portions of the Carbon framework, and that causes some annoying
glitches in the Carbon port. Meanwhile the Carbon+AppKit port uses
the Cocoa AppKit framework for GUI, which seems to be supported better
than the Carbon counterpart in Mac OS X 10.6.

The ninth update of the Mac port, which is experimental/hackers-only,
is also available from

    ftp://ftp.math.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/emacs/emacs-23.1.94-mac-1.99.tar.gz

This version is based on Emacs 23.1.94 pretest.

** Fixed bugs

*** Dictionary popped up with Command-Control-D is misplaced when a
word in a partially-visible line is looked up.

*** Drag-n-dropping a file into a Message buffer opens the file
instead of adding it as an attachment. Reported by Leo.

*** Crash when a text is drag-n-dropped into the Dock icon.
Reported by Leo.

*** Not registered as a service provider on Mac OS X 10.4 and earlier,
even if there is no other instance of running Emacs.

*** Modifier mapping for the `fn' key does not work with the `A' key.

** Improvements

*** Reverse conversion in Kotoeri works even without selection.
Hitting Eisu/Kana key on JIS keyboard (or Control-Shift-;/J/K on US
keyboard) twice also works.
