These are the (only) reasons that I use bzr, and I'm probably not
alone in this case. While people are used to git, and can be
forgiven for falling in love with git after living with cvs or
subversion, it's really not that hard to use bzr.

Can we add some sort of hook or check in report-emacs-bug to
cover this case? Perhaps if emacs knows it was built from a
repository instead of a release (there are 4 parts to
emacs-version), then it inserts a message like ``Thank you for
helping with Emacs! Unless you are using the GNU Bazaar
repository of emacs, you might wish to check the latest source
via bazaar or at http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/lh/emacs/trunk
before reporting a problem.''?

Of course, if we ever decided to include a bzr revno/etc in the
environment, that could also help.
