Let's see existing keybindings related to `q': C-x q runs the command kbd-macro-query C-x C-q runs the command toggle-read-only C-x 0 runs the command delete-window C-x 4 0 runs the command kill-buffer-and-window The latest is the closest, so a possible keybinding for `quit-window' would be `C-x 4 q'.
