Even a year ago, when I checked my statistics, the number of 10.4 (and older)
users was tiny. The number of more up-to-date Aquamacs versions used on 10.4
and 10.5 was very low (<1%). Mac users who like Emacs, presumably, upgrade
their operating system regularly, and those who like new versions of
application software certainly do so. I can update the statistics and report
exact numbers if anyone here would like to see them.

A requirement for 10.5, or even 10.6 would be no problem and, in the contrary,
may improve code quality. (Based on the numbers, we're not providing universal
binaries for much longer, and I will not invest much time in PPC binaries).
