On a different machine, I let git bzr run for a while. After chewing
through about 50GB of disk space, the import process failed with this
error:

python(60661) malloc: *** mmap(size=140780772814848) failed (error
code=12)
*** error: can't allocate region

Even the most heroic of memory managers won't honor a request for 140
terabytes.
