M-x profiler-report does nothing

M-x profiler-report does nothing |

Since today, this sequence:
M-x profiler-start RET RET
M-x profiler-stop RET
M-x profiler-report RET
produces nothing. Yesterday, I would get the results of profiling.
What happened? It looks like now one can get the results only as long
as the profiler is running? Why?
