Here's what "works for me":

  bzr branch bzr+ssh://address@hidden/emacs/elpa
  cd elpa
  rm -rf packages
  bzr revert

(Of course, I used my Savannah username, not yours.)

The only problem is, "bzr check" after the above reports "35
inconsistent parents", which I don't understand.  Anybody?
