Sounds exciting. Is there a plan for guile-emacs to be emacs?

I spend my time on Guile and not Emacs, but I believe the answer is, "in theory, maybe, at some point. But no concrete plan." That's been the answer for at least ten years.

However, there has been more progress in the last two years than there has in a long time, thanks to BT Templeton (and others). I believe there is even a repository containing a branch of Emacs that uses Guile as its execution engine. Maybe BT could tell you the status of that branch.
