Right.  But there's no 64-bit MinGW support yet.  nt/gmake.defs needs
some changes, and after that, whoever bites this bullet will need to
find solutions for incompatibilities between MinGW64 and MinGW32
headers, of the kind reported by Óscar.

Volunteers donating patches are welcome.

And thanks to Fabrice for his pioneer work which I believe took care
of most, if not all, problems with 64-bit Windows build per se (data
types etc.).
