For the record: On my laptop (Intel Core i5-2410 CPU @ 2.3 GHz),
bootstraping Emacs on MS-Windows used to take about 15 minutes.  With
the new (not yet committed to trunk) MSYS-based build system, that
time is reduced by a factor of 4 to 5:

  real    3m25.157s
  user    0m48.021s
  sys     2m40.234s

Amazing!

BTW, Eli, when do you plan to commit this to the trunk?
