The one that came with my libgnutls port, here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezwinports/files/gnutls-3.0.9-w32-bin.zip/download doesn't require libgcc (it was linked against it statically).
That fixed it, thanks for your help.I remember choosing not to overwrite the existing libintl DLL with the one that came with your GnuTLS build, because the existing one was newer.
Looks like another good candidate for mentioning in INSTALL.MSYS.
