Why do you say that? He's suggesting to rely on GPL, not put it aside.
Which IMO makes sense, allowing us to at least accept tests from random
contributors, even for large features, with no friction.
I'm not sure how useful would that be in the current situation, but in
the event of adopting stricter testing guidelines, it could definitely
help.
