Because these are the exact packages I see coming up again and again
when reading emacs forums. From the top ones I see ido, recentf, 
yasnippet, etc. discussed very frequently.

But I agree the data is not representative, so it's only my suspicion
(based on my personal observations) that these are really popular
packages.
