Where do the ChangeLog entries come from today, then?

There are various ways to prevent such commits wending their way into
the official repo and there are also ways to add fixes if necessary.
These would perhaps trigger workflow changes that have little if
anything to do with Git, although it might be a good time to discuss
them before switching from Bzr.
