If you're talking about the Git repository, yes, we'll probably want to
overwrite the current one with some new one.
But the repository has denynonfastforwards=false, so we should be able
to overwrite without any further configuration. When the Git repository
becomes *The* repository, we'll want to ask the Savannah guys to set
denynonfastforwards=true.
