The only way the features in question can "work best" with GCC is if
they are not implemented at all, because GCC still doesn't offer the
necessary interface that would allow us to use it in the capacity that
we can use Clang.

Note that the user will still be able to use GCC as the compiler, but
would have to have Clang installed for code assistance.
