Just a note for context: most of the patch and effort was in acceptance
tests which will be useful regardless of the underlying glue; the
complex RSA+DSA facilities were not done yet; and I am still not sure if
I should use the GnuTLS API or libnettle+libhogweed directly for the
primitives.
