I agree - while I do not use hydra (yet), including it in Emacs seems
a very good idea.  Not only because it is good, but also because it is
(I think at least) unique.  AFAIR, it's called "USP"
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unique_selling_proposition).
