Emacs master has had ~82 commits in November, according to 'git log', which comes out to ~10 a day. With ELPA, this will be something like 40% increase?
And this is only while ELPA is relatively unpopular. If it ever grows to anything comparable to the size of MELPA (which we probably should aspire to), we will drown.
