I'm not trying to cover qualified names here. In many languages, it's impossible to find out the qualified name of the type or method at point without parsing the whole application with its dependencies (and sometimes you have to run it anyway).

As far as xref is concerned, qualified symbol names are currently an implementation detail: some backends might operate them under the covers, but the API stays ignorant.
