Improving the presentation of Emacs user documentation

A Spacemacs user just showed me:

    http://spacemacs.org/doc/DOCUMENTATION.html

And compared it to:

    https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_mono/emacs.html

Maybe someone would like to bridge the visual gap? :)

Spacemacs not only has a cleaner or more modern look, but it makes the
documentation *feel* more accessible, which is key.
