Agreed :) What about a setting that would make C-x C-s always save, regardless
of whether saving is actually needed?
Also, I'd argue that it's almost a bug that you get a overwriting warning using
C-x C-w when you're writing to a patch equal to buffer-file-name. Isn't it?
