The Info section on text properties declares inhibit-point-motion-hooks obsolete. That same section also declares point-entered and point-left obsolete and points instead at cursor-sensor as the new goodness. cursor-sensor in turn has a variable cursor-sensor-inhibit which is undocumented --- so what is the new replacement for inhibit-point-motion-hooks? -- --
