Really? That should be known.

So https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=15485 is fixed?

Info still mentions words to expand, not just symbols.

‘C-x a g’
     Define an abbrev, using one or more words before point as its
     expansion (‘add-global-abbrev’).
