I don't have an opinion on this topic; I admire the work of both Daniel and Ken, but I'm happy to defer to you and other experts for technical opinions.


I'm absolutely not an expert on this. All I'm suggesting is that the impact of such changes should be measured, and that startup time in batch mode isn't everything.
