    (defgeneric, defmethod): Move to eieio-compat.el.  Mark obsolete.
    * lisp/emacs-lisp/eieio-compat.el: New file.
    * lisp/emacs-lisp/eieio.el: Don't require eieio-generic any more.
    * lisp/emacs-lisp/eieio-core.el (eieio--slot-originating-class-p):
    Remove unused function.
