[Orgmode] Adding code blocks from different files

Hi

I discussed it already with Dan, and he suggested to post the question here:

is it possible to have different org files, which then can be combined to a single output (pdf, latex, ...) and, more important, tangled together from a master document?

I could imagine something (as suggested by Dan):

 

<</path/to/remote_file:source-block-name-to-be-included>>

and this code block in the external remote_file would be treated as part of the master-document. So tagling of several external files would be dealt with by tangling the master-document.
