If the crash doesn't happen outside of GDB, you could simply tell GDB
to pass it to Emacs, or ignore it.
That is true, but I think it would be better to figure out why
this spurious SIGSTOP is getting generated.
Was the temacs run under GDB when dumping the `emacs' executable?
I wonder if a breakpoint generates SIGSTOP.
