Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
M-x eshell RET top RET starts a top process in a *term* window. In
Emacs-21.2, this looks fine. In current pretest, the output is
garbled as if there were missing a CR after every line.
In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
of 2003-02-16 on lola.goethe.zz
configured using `configure '--with-x-toolkit=gtk'
'--prefix=/usr/local/emacs-21''
