This needs to be get fixed at some point.
If it is believed to be a bug in the OS X kernel, has it been reported ?
Is there a small test program that demonstrate the problem (so that you
can't blame Emacs) ?
Does it affect other programs (I haven't heard any such thing yet) ?
If not, why not ?
