    So here is the log of my gdb session with Emacs.  Does this tell
    anybody anything?

I can't tell anything specific from it, but I get the feeling
that some malloc data have been corrupted.  That tends to be caused
by stray memory references.  Running with malloc debugging enabled
might give more info.

I think it is necessary to enable malloc debugging in temacs while
building and dumping.  Later on is too late.
