I start Emacs with
emacs -q --no-site-file example.sh
to end up in shell-script-mode.
Lines terminated with an `\' are now indented as follows:
first \
second
If I start font-locking by typing M-x global-font-lock-mode
indentation is like this:
first \
second
(Cf. Recent input below)
Strange, is it not?
Lute.
In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GNU/LessTif Version 1.2 Release
0.93.18)
of 2003-07-31 on occarina.pna.cwi.nl
configured using `configure '--enable-maintainer-mode' '--with-x-toolkit=motif'
'CFLAGS=-g''
