ElDoc does no longer work for functions containing '-'

From: Stefan Daschek
Subject: ElDoc does no longer work for functions containing '-'
Date: Fri, 8 Aug 2003 20:48:58 +0200

Symptoms:

For example in *scratch* buffer, with eldoc-mode enabled, I type
(delete-overlay ) (point before closing brace) and minibuffer shows
description for the function "delete". Same for other functions
having dashes in their names.

In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.0.2195)
 of 2003-07-13 on MR-LARCH
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.2) --cflags -I../../libpng/include
-I../../jpeg-6b/include -I../../tiff/include -I../../xpm/include
-I../../zlib/include'
