Not at the moment. Could someone investigate on x86 first? It's
probably the same.

Potentially, but this is a 32-bit Emacs build.
However, the 64-bit version won't dump under Irix 6.5. It appears to
smash the stack during dumping, so I can't see what's going on. Emacs
21.3 works OK.
There was an apparently-different error on dumping with the head code
in 64-bit Irix, Tru64 and Solaris builds. As far as I know that never
got fixed, so maybe this is it in a different guise.
