The solution for grep.el was to remove it. If there's a real problem
after that, perhaps someone who knows what they're doing will fix it.

I've no idea what this is about, and as far as I know there wasn't
previously a problem on the platforms I'm interested in. I'd have
thought it was the responsibility of whoever installed the stuff.
