My guess is however that if you try to visit one of the files, listed
using `i', by pressing RET, it will not work.  That can be fixed using
dired-move-to-filename-regexp, but I would have to change the value I
proposed earlier to take care of the MS Windows style listing.  Some
other changes are needed to the value I proposed to take care of marks
in the first column but that is just replacing a space with a `.'.
