Focus on MAC OS/X with carbon

Symptoms:

It happens often that the focusing of frames gets brokens.

What does happen:

Suppose that you have 2 frames, one is named POSTA and host the output
of VM, the other one is general purpose (programming, gnus). POSTA is
the active frame when .emacsrc execution ends.

POSTA is  created during  the startup, the  other one is  the original
frame.

Then it happens that I can't focus the Mac OS/X Application (Emacs)
unless clicking on the dockbar icon. Clicking on the Emacs frames is 
useless in these situations.

Then, when I get the focus on titlebar gadgets get inactive, the mouse
icon is a bar not an arrow.

Furthermore, when I iconize POSTA  frame with C-z and start working on
the other frame any mouse click restore POSTA frame in foreground.

Sadly I have not understood what triggers this behaviour, I noticed
that iconizing (not hiding) both frames and then restoring the
"other" frame leaving POSTA frame iconified can restore an acceptable
behaviour.

My most sincere apologies for not giving a good triggering event. I
fear it can happen with a freshly started Emacs.
