This problem with windmove is now fixed and windmove is working quite
well again. With windmove-window-distance-delta customization erased
(value 1), I can now move around in all directions consistently. I
tested today's CVS emacs with no X toolkit, with X toolkit = GTK, and in
text mode (-nw). Thanks for the fix!!

Incidentally, there is still a different problem with windmove and the
minibuffer, but this is not new; see
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2003-05/msg00704.html for
one report of the problem. Now that window-at and
coordinates-in-window-p work as expected, I'll take a look at the
minibuffer issue and file a new bug report when I have more information.

Thanks again for the fix,
-Jesse
