(I had some trouble sending this, I hope you do not receive duplicates)
Symptoms:
My CVS emacs consistently crasahes on a console terminal when trying
to split the window vertically.
the crash occurs in x_draw_vertical_border, which gdb tells me when I
run emacs in gdb,
