Under windowmaker no mode line and minbuffer

Symptoms:

Wenn I use Windowmaker and start emacs (motif) with '-Q --fullscreen'
there isn't a Mode-Line and a Minibuffer. With the same configuration
and '-q --fullscreen' all works fine. It also don't happen if I choose
as toolkit 'gtk' or if I use Gnome. So it looks it is only related to
Windowmaker and emacs compiled with the motif libraries.
