Hmm... I was assuming he might want to apply some local changes every once
in a while for testing and that he prefers diff3 format.

I never use anything else than `tla star-merge --three-way' to bring
in changes.

But then again, my local CVS checked out tree with local changes (before
I moved all this to my own Arch branch) had about 1MB of diff, so maybe I'm
somewhat unusual in my usage patterns,
