Just add "(setq gnus-carpal t)" to your Gnus init file and this will give you
a window/buffer with quite a few buttons in addition to your Group or Summary
buffer. Now when I move the mouse to my carpal window (e.g. the Summary carpal
buffer contains only 3 lines all filled with buttons), the carpal buffer is
scrolled automatically to the end (only the last line remains visible).
