I have some more information about this, it happens only for the
cached articles that have since expired on the server, it does not
happen for the cached articles that are still present on the server. 
It so happened that when I reported this all my cached articles were
also not present on the server anymore... 

Does this help? Is there anything else I could do to help with this?
