view-other-diary-entries problems

Symptoms:

Call "M-x calendar" and then view-other-diary-entries, for instance by
typing "D" or via "<menu-bar> <diary> <view>".  You get an error:

Symbol's function definition is void: view-other-diary-entries

This is a bug.  Perhaps view-other-diary-entries should be autoloaded?

Arrange that view-other-diary-entries gets loaded.  You can simply do
that by typing "d" (view-diary-entries).  Hit "D" again.  Now you get
an error

Symbol's value as variable is void: arg

This is another bug, and perhaps a more serious one.
