Thanks for sending the bug report.  I think someone already
mentioned that we have fixed the bug in the sources.

By the way, the system that you are new to is not Linux.
It's actually the GNU system, and GNU Emacs is one of the
first programs developed to be part of GNU, back in 1984.
Linux is one component of the system that you use;
it is the kernel.  But it isn't the whole system.
