error in calendar |

Symptoms:
Hi,
When calling up the calendar, since a few days, I get the following error:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p nil)
calendar-date-is-legal-p(nil)
mark-visible-calendar-date(nil calendar-today-face)
calendar-mark-today()
run-hooks(today-visible-calendar-hook)
byte-code("
generate-calendar-window(3 2005)
calendar-basic-setup(nil)
calendar(nil)
call-interactively(calendar)
It seems to have to do with the return value of
(calendar-cursor-to-date), which is not expected (by
mark-visible-calendar-date) to be `nil'.
It makes it impossible to save the diary files, because the
appointments are automatically updated when the calendar is saved
(which causes an error, and saving is not completed).
In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.13 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
