Problem with string to fontset conversion

From: Kim F. Storm
Subject: Problem with string to fontset conversion
Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 06:22:03 -0500

Symptoms:

Just updated from CVS, bootstrapped, and now emacs -q issues a message
that it didn't issue before:

Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string
"-*-helvetica-medium-r-*--*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1" to type FontSet

-- and the font used in the menu bar has changed.

The font is defined in xrdb.c, x_load_resources:

  char *helv = "-*-helvetica-medium-r-*--*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1";

In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
 of 2005-03-18 on kfs-l.imdomain.dk
Distributor `The XFree86 Project, Inc', version 11.0.40300000
