I don't understand what you mean by the last sentense
above.  Please follow the following instruction.

Anyway, the current emacs supports TrueType fonts only via X
proptocol; in other words, you can use only such a font in
Emacs that you can see by the program xfd.   Can you see the
glyphs of that Korean font by "xfd -fn gulimche-9"?
