Um, a possible point of confusion here is that "button.el" is a
package for making buttons/links/clickable-text in emacs buffers, so
if someone says "link button", it probably means "a button object that
looks/acts like a link", not "something that looks like a button".

The help buffer generally uses button.el, but as far as I know always
uses it to make "links".
